Meribel is a lively town, built mainly in local wood and stone and lies below the more modern higher-altitude Mottaret complex. Mottaret is a series of medium sized, low level buildings, almost all with doorstep skiing and a variety of bars, restaurants and shops and a very friendly village atmosphere.

Scotts is a lively restaurant and Le Plein Soleil is renowned for live music and crazy theme nights	A wide choice of over 65 restaurants and bars in both Meribel and Mottaret. 3 course set menus for approx €21.
